Stayed at No. 5 Bridge Street for a mountain bike event. The staff let me securely store my bike. Facilities were nice, bed was comfortable. Great value for money. Dinner, wine, and cocktails were all excellent. Best full English breakfast in a long while. Lovely location near the river and park, just minutes from the high street. Winchester is a great place to explore with its history, shops, bars, and restaurants. Highly recommend eating at No. 5 Bridge Street.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Got superior king room when arrived, appreciated that. A shower, a hairdryer, and free toiletries were very handy. The position of the hotel was fantastic and stunning, within walking distance of everything.
The location was not so great.

Central location, just a pleasant stroll away from Westgate Museum. Compact & beautifully presented unit with the bathroom, a comfy bed, for instance. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff always on hand.

I absolutely loved the cozy and inviting atmosphere of Bridge Street House. The interior design, with its vintage furnishings and period features, added character to the place. The clean, uncluttered surfaces and wooden floors created a sense of calm. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had taken accessibility into consideration, making it easy for me to navigate the premises.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is to have more seating areas available throughout the hotel. Sometimes, after a long day of exploring, it would have been nice to find a comfortable spot to rest and relax.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, as it was situated in the center of town and not far from both the bus and train stations. We had the option to walk from the train station or take a short bus ride to the hotel. the hotel had a pub downstairs, which was a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink after a long day of exploring. The hotel was located on a busy roundabout, providing easy access to main roads and attractions in the area.
One small inconvenience was the noise from the road outside the hotel, especially in the morning when the dustman would show up. However, this didn't bother us too much during our short stay.
